Andor was aired on Disney+ on the 21st of September 2022, following a delay of numerous weeks after it initially got scheduled to drop on the 31st of August.

5 years before the events of Rogue One, Andor tells the story of the burgeoning Rebel Alliance and it grew from a handful of individuals into the fighting force that is handled to wipe out the Galactic Empire.

The series focuses on the titular Cassian Andor and follows up his journey which started from being a good-for-nothing thief to becoming a hero of the Rebellion.

Season 2nd got confirmed

Lucasfilm has announced that Andor will run for 2 seasons. On top of that, it has already been declared that the 2nd season will consist of the second batch of 12 episodes, giving the story a total of 24 chapters.

It will also conclude the series and hile there’s no official release date yet for Andor season 2, expect it to roll around sometime next year with shooting getting underway in November, 2022.
