K Annamalai completed his schooling at PSG College of Technology of Coimbatore and then later enrolled in the Indian Institute of Management located in Lucknow. In 2007 he completed his bachelor’s degree in engineering and in 2010 he studied business. He was born to Kuppusamy while his mother’s name is Parameshwari. He got married to his love of life Akila S. Nathan and she is a manager in MS Hewlett Packard enterprise global soft private Ltd.
His height is 5 feet 9 inches and his weight is approximately 70 kg as of 2022. He is a politician and a former civil servant.

K Annamalai is a 2011 batch IPS officer who worked at various locations in Tamil Nadu. He was a civil servant for a period of more than 9 years. Annamalai during his days of the college actively worked as a secretary of the samvedi society and its management group. Later on he associated with Abhiyan and the personality club of the college as its Student coordinator.
He was an officer trainee at LBSNA Mussoorie, Uttranchal from September of 2011 to December 2011. K Annamalai did training and took expertise from Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel National Police Academy in December of 2011 and later on gained training in September of 2013.
He is a follower of Sri Ramakrishna Mutt and its Head Srimat Swami Gautamanada Ji Maharaj. He was also the SP of the state Karkala, Karnataka and in January of 2015, he transferred to Udupi and served in many cities of Karnataka. After serving for years as a government servant he founded a foundation named we the leaderโs foundation and started working in it as chief mentor. This foundation promotes agriculture techniques and modern equipment.
In 2022 on 5 June he was accused for corruption charges. He is a well-known author who wrote a book titled stepping beyond khakhi.
