Takeoff, who hails from Georgia was reportedly shot and killed in a Bowling Alley on Tuesday in Houston, Texas.
Migos Rapper Takeoff Shot And Killed
The tragic shooting incident took place around 02:30 local time (07:30 GMT) in a Boling Alley in Houston, Texas. The 28-year-old, Grammy-nominated musician was on a balcony outside the 810 Billiards and Bowling Alley with uncle and bandmate, Quavo.
Takeoff and Quavo were reportedly playing dice and chilling on the balcony when the shooting took place. According to multiple reports the violence erupted following a dispute over a dice game nearby.
Takeoffโs record label informed in their statement that they were deeply devastated and termed the incident as senseless violence. According to the statement, a stray bullet took the life of the famous and much-loved rapper.
Takeoffโs uncle Quavo, who was also present at the scene luckily managed to escape from the incident without injuries.
The Disturbing Viral Video
The disturbing video, which has gone viral on social media, shows the now deceased rapper lying on the ground. Viewers can see numerous other people running around including Quavo who screams while all this happens.
Many Takeoff fans sparked outrage as some fans continue to share the disturbing clip, which can be seen as disrespectful for the late rapper.
A twitter user tweeted, saying:
โPlease do not retweet the video of Takeoffโs deathโฆwe donโt need to see it. Nobody needs to see it.โ
Other Twitter users called the video as an invasion of privacy, while others stated concern for Takeoffโs family members who have to see the chilling video.
The incident is truly a shocking case, and police are still investigating the shootings that occurred. As of now, police are not sure if the shootings were targeted at Takeoff or simply stray bullets.
