2022 Chess.com Global Championship Finals Schedule, Date, Time, Venue, Draw, & List of Participants
The biggest Chess.com competition of the year, Chess.com Global Championship, will kick-off on 2nd November and culminate with final on 7th November at Toronto. There are still eight players who can win the title of world champion. Till now, $500,000 prize money has been distributed among already eliminated winners and remaining $500,000 will be handed out among these eight players as per finishing position. During quarterfinal stage of this tournament, Hikaru Nakamura vs. Jan-Krzysztof Duda, Wesley So vs. Dmitry Andreikin, Anish Giri vs. Teimour Radjabov; & Nihal Sarin vs. GM Sam Sevian will be played.
There have already been many surprises at Chess Global Championship. During first two rounds, Pavel Ponkratov stunned Viswanathan Anand and reigning rapid champion Nodirbek Abdusattorov. Also in second-round, Sam Sevian defeated Maxime Vachier-Lagrave to qualify towards further round. Surprisingly in third-round, former FIDE World Championship challengers Fabiano Caruana, Nepomniachtchi, & Ding Liren were all ousted by lower-ranked rivals. Owing to these surprising results, fans will be eager to know who survives this rigorous knockout format and clinches title.

2022 Chess.com Global Championship Finals Prize Money
As per official announcement, champion of 2022 Chess.com Global Championship will bag prize money of $200,000. Meanwhile, runner-up will receive $100,000 from overall $1 Million prize pool. With half of prize pool already distributed among eliminated players, remaining rewards will be split among these eight knockout qualifiers.
