In the past, longer games gave too much of an advantage to teams that were already good. Things did get better, but not how we thought they would. Yes, competition got worse, but social media are mostly to blame. One example is the issue of Fake Mr Bean between Pakistan and Zimbabwe.

Out of the blue, a Zimbabwe fan brought up how Pakistan made Zimbabwe look bad as a country. All of this started when PCB sent out a tweet showing its players practising for the game against Craig Irvine’s team.
Nagugu Chasura, a fan of Zimbabwe, said that Pakistan should pray that it doesn’t rain to save them. Chasura says that Zimbabweans will never forgive Pakistanis for making a fake Mr. Bean. Chasura wrote back to PCB, “As Zimbabweans we wonโt forgive youโฆ you once gave us that Fraud Pak Bean instead of Mr Bean Rowan ..we will settle the matter tomorrow just pray the rains will save youโฆ #ZIMVSPAK.”

Pak Sent Fake Mr Bean To Zimbabwe
No one knew what to do. Finally, a Pak fan asked him what was making him so unhappy. It turned out that in 2016, Zimbabweans wanted Rowan Atkinson, who is known as Mr. Bean, to perform at a comedy show.
They had already made plans for it as well. The Pakistanis then stepped in and said they would send Mr. Bean to the Harare Agricultural show. Zimbabweans asked Pakistan how they could send Mr. Bean if he was already in London. Pakistanis found a way to convince them that Rowan would eventually get there.

Mr. Bean did go to Zimbabwe, but it was Fake Mr Bean. In fact, Mr. Bean has his own version in Pakistan. He goes by the name Asif Muhammad. Except for the shape of his body, Asif looks just like Rowan Atkinson, who played the original Mr. Bean.
The cherry on top of the cake is that, like Rowan, he is a professional comedian who does strange acts like Mr. Bean. During the show, he even tried to act like Mr. Bean, and for a while, the crowd didn’t know which one was which. With his roadshow, he even caused traffic jams.
But the comedy show, which was the main reason Mr. Bean was called, did not live up to the hype. Mannerism was just too hard for people to understand. Even the people in charge knew that Asif wouldn’t be a big star, which is why he didn’t have a solo act and was just a sideshow. There were only a few kids clapping here and there, but the auditorium was almost empty.
Zimbabweans Are Angry Over Fake Mr Bean!
Zimbabweans were, of course, angry. Time hasn’t made them less angry. Pakistani fans did try to calm their anger by giving India their version of Virat Kohli, Ahmed Shehzad, in exchange.
Few Pakistanis apologised over the issue of Fake Mr Bean, but others tried to make things right by telling Chusara that Pakistan had given them Sikandar Raja, a key player on the current Zimbabwe team. One person even tried to make Zimbabweans feel better by saying he was at least 50% Mr. Bean.
All of those tweets weren’t enough to make Zimbabweans, especially Chusara, feel better. Now, it’s up to their players to get back at the other team. But one thing became obvious. Pakistanis don’t judge people based on how far away they live. They are bad for the countries right next to them and for countries thousands of kilometres away.
