The BCCI has become only the second board to pay both genders equally, know the salary paid for international players
BCCI announces equal pay for both male and female cricketers of India.
The BCCI secretary Jay Shah tweeted on Thursday about the new pay scale. According to that, the Indian international players will get the same match fee regardless of gender.

The initiative has been taken by BCCI for standing against gender discrimination on the cricket field.
New Pay Scale of BCCI
The match fee for a test match will be 15 lakh INR per player.
Players will earn 6 lakh INR per ODI game.
In T20I players will earn 3 lakh INR per match.

The honorary secretary of BCCI has been very active since his tenure began in 2019. His promise of providing equal pay to the male and female cricketers of India has been fulfilled. The apex council’s support was praised by the BCCI secretory in the tweet.

Upliftment of women’s cricket was the priority in the AGM 2022
In the latest AGM held in Mumbai on the 18th of October main objective was to drive the young female cricketers in India. Considering the popularity of the sport BCCI took the decision.
The first-ever Women’s IPL was also the priority of the AGM 2022. BCCI has taken every single possible step to uplift women’s cricket in India.
