A Florida-based father, Jason Winoker, who went missing last year after dropping off his daughter at Florida State University has reportedly been found dead
According to Florida Police, the 52-year-old father was found in Tallahassee, in a heavily wooded area off the Apalachee Parkway.

The location where Jason’s skeletal remains have been discovered is roughly a 6-minute walk from where his wife had reported him last seen alive.
The father of 4 children went missing from Pasco County in the fall last year.
What is the Media Report’s Saying?
As per a report by the New York Post, Jason’s body was discovered on October 25, by the Tallahassee Police Department at around 3 pm in a densely wooded area after almost a year.
The investigators believe that the human remains that have been discovered belong to Winoker, who was last seen alive on Aug 17, 2021.
According to another report by huffpost, the Tallahassee Democrat said in a report that remains of the human have been discovered by a group of adults when they were in the area “searching for artifacts.”

Last year, on August 17, Jason, a father of 4 children, reportedly went missing from the SpringHill Suites which is around 3rd mile down the Apalachee Parkway.
It’s the exact same location where his remains have now been found.
As per the statement given by his wife, Renee to CBS affiliate WCTV, the incident of him going missing took place at around 1 am when he and his wife, Renee were sound asleep in their room.
Suddenly Winoker woke up, he grabbed his wallet, room key and left without his phone.
According to a report, Renee took to social media and posted about her husband’s final hours as she revealed that he had been struggling with depression.
She also said that Jason was struggling with insomnia and also that he oftenly needed some private time alone “to work it out.”
In her post, she also stated that at the time, she had assumed that he might have visited the hotel lobby. But his husband didn’t show up at all, so she started to get worried.
At the time, when Jason vanished, Renee told the local media outlet WFLA, that neighborhood police along with dogs had searched the hotel’s surrounding area for approximately a mile.
In her previous interviews she had revealed that, “They have used cadaver dogs, drones, and dogs specifically trained to pick up his scent, but they haven’t been able to pick up on a solid trail.”
However, now the city police stated in an announcement that the skeletal remains that are found in a heavily wooded area are most likely those of a missing Florida father.
At the time, his family had taken to Facebook and shared in a group that was made to learn what exactly happened to Jason after he left his hotel room that morning.
As per the group conversation, Jason had been wearing a great shirt and tan shorts when he was last seen alive.
On Tuesday evening, after the news of human remains have been discovered announced, Winoker’s wife, Renee reportedly told the Fox News Digital in a statement, “We are devastated.”
Later, in a facebook post, she revealed that, “They cannot rule out that he suffered a soft tissue injury. He had no obvious skeletal injuries.”
She also stated that authorities are working in order to retrieve Jason’s defibrillator data as he reportedly had an internal cardiac defibrillator.
She also noted that the cops are still investigating the matter as she requested that if anyone had any information about what happened that night, they should contact the Tallahassee police at their number i.e, (850) 891-4200.
