One thing that fans won’t be too keen to hear is that the game is following in the same footsteps of Overwatch 2. Just like OW2, players need to register a phone number to play Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 2022.
Moreover, the game will need the number to be a postpaid device as prepaid and VOIP are not accepted.
While the campaign will launch in just a couple of days, palyers need to wait over a week longer for the arrival of online multiplayer.
Will CoD MW2 2022 Feature Zombies?
The short answer is no. Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 2022 will not feature any zombies for CoD MW2 multiplayer.
Infinity Ward confirmed the status of the living dead during a Q&A session all the way back in June according to reports.
While Infinity Ward did not provide any explanation as to why zombies are not featured in the game, it is hardly surprising that the undead are typically not included in CoD instalments developed by Infinity Ward.
Despite no army of the dead featuring in this year’s game, leaks have already surfaced for Treyarch’s 2024 entry.
