The game is a sequel to “A Plague Tale: Innocence” and follows on from where it left. It features Amicia and Hugo who dive into a world of supernatural forces while trying to save Hugo from a ghostly curse.
Players can use weapons, tools and unearthly powers under the guise of stealth gameplay.

The official “A Plague Tale” Twitter account confirmed the release date for A Plague Tale: Requiem as Tuesday, October 18, 2022. The game will release on the following platforms:

- Nintendo Switch (Cloud Version)
- PC (Steam, GOG, Microsoft Store and Epic Games Games)
Depending on location, some PC players may gain access to the game slightly early on 17 October.

Judging from the prices Switch tax is leaking into other consoles like Xbox Series X|S and PlayStation 5.
However, Nintendo Switch has a special ‘Cloud Version’ while the latter promises UHD 4K visuals.
But the fact that PC can also probably offer this with some powerful enough rigs means that the price difference in the first place comes into question.
All things considered, Requiem is a smash hit sequel regardless of the platform.
