The Watcher: Release Date And Plot Preview
Netflix released “The Watcher” yesterday on Thursday, October 13, 2022.
The series is inspired by true events and is based on the true story published by Reeves Wiedeman in an article titled “The Haunting of a Dream House,” in the 2018 New York Magazine.
It tells the story of Dean and Nora Brannock (based on the real Derek and Marie Broaddus). The couple have just purchased their dream home at 657 Boulevard in the idyllic suburb of Westfield, New Jersey.
As the couple adjusts to their new house, the Brannocks quickly begin to realise that the quiet neighbourhood may not be as it seems.
Their quirky and nosy neighbours soon set about making the pair feel like outsiders.
The situation gets even more intense when they begin to receive ominous letters from an anonymous individual calling themselves “The Watcher”.
The Watcher: Full Episodes List
The Watcher consists of seven episodes in total. Netflix has made available all the seven chapters in one go.
Fans can binge the series at their own pace rather instead of waiting for a weekly release.
Each episode of The Watcher features a runtime between 44 and 52 minutes, giving the series a total length of 332 minutes – or five hours and 32 minutes.
