Andrew Brister IV, the son of ex-NFL QB Bubby Brister, was arrested on Sunday on hit-and-run charges after he allegedly killed an LSU fan Jude Jarreau in the accident
The tragic accident took place on Ben Hur Road, off Burbank Drive. Following the unfortunate incident, Brister IV reportedly surrendered himself to the police.

Andrew Brister IV is the son of former Broncos quarterback Walter “Bubby” Brister. He currently plays for the University of Northern Coloradoโs football team.
Andrew Brister IV Brief Bio
Andrew Brister IV is the 21-year-old son of Walter Andrew “Bubby” Brister III, ex-NFL quarterback. The young man reportedly lives together with his parents in Mandeville, Louisiana.
Brister IV is also a quarterback and plays for the Northern Colorado Bears – the University of Northern Coloradoโs football team in Greeley.
Ed McCaffrey, Bubby Brister’s former NFL teammate is the teamโs head coach. Bister IV, stand at six-foot and five-inches tall and weighs around 198 pounds.
The young star began his football career at the Neville High School in Monroe, Louisiana.
According to his stat reports during that time, he completed over 111 of 206 passes for 1,392 yards, and for 22 touchdowns in the 2019 season with the Nevilles.
The Tragic Incident
According to police reports, Brister was driving a black Range Rover SUV hit the victim Jude Jarreau while he was crossing the road. The 44-year-old man died on the spot after the hit while the car fled the incident.
BRPD’sย Lt. Don Coppola said in a statement:
โIt was the witnesses that provided information,”
Coppola further added:
“Now through investigative measures, investigators will look and see if thereโs anything to further support but, as of now we canโt thank those individuals enough. The community that stayed and observed, and relayed that information to us.”
