The field for 2022 Gibraltar Darts Trophy has been announced as the top darts players get ready to compete in the European Tour event this week at the Victoria Stadium in Gibraltar. In the 48-player field, 32 qualifiers from various competitions will join the top 16 darts players in the world.

2022 Gibraltar Darts Trophy Schedule, Venue, Draw, Format, and Playing Line-up
2022 Gibraltar Darts Trophy will be final of the thirteen PDC European Tour competitions on the PDC Pro Tour. From October 14–16, 2022, the competition will be held at Gibraltar’s Victoria Stadium. In this prestigious event, there will be a field of 48 competitors, £140,000 in prize money, and $25,000 prize money for winner. All matches up until the quarterfinals will be best-of-11-legs affairs, with the winner being determined by who accumulates six legs first. According to the Professional Darts Corporation, the semifinal and final will utilize best-of-15 legs format.
Top 16 competitors from the PDC ProTour Order of Merit automatically earned a spot in the competition and were given seeds for the second round. To select 32 remaining competitors, a combination of various qualifying competitions was used. For this tournament, reigning champion Gerwyn Price and top-seed Luke Humphries are considered overwhelming favorites as per bookmakers.
