Before their teams got involved, Fury and Joshua exchanged words via social media in an attempt to set up a fight, although ineffectively. The two have a history of verbal sparring, and the Gypsy King claimed that Joshua’s staff held the contracts and that he had failed to sign them by the deadline. Fury is now focusing on Chisora, with whom he will battle to finish a trilogy.
Tyson Fury vs Derek Chisora bout date
The fight between Tyson Fury and Derek Chisora has not yet received official confirmation of its date. However, the fight is anticipated to happen on December 3, 2022, on Saturday.
It will be a trilogy fight between Tyson Fury and Derek Chisora. Regarding Fury. Chisora was first defeated by Fury at Wembley Arena in 2011; Fury had never suffered a defeat in his professional career. After Chisora’s retirement in the tenth round, he defeated him once more three years later.
The fight was originally scheduled to to take place at the Principality Stadium in Cardiff Wales but promoter Frank Warren says the event may take place at another arena or stadium in the country now. Ring-walks will get underway from 10pm UK time. The bout has yet to be confirmed, so there is no TV channel yet but Fury’s last eight fights have be shown live on BT Sport, with his last three all being shown as a pay-per-view event.
The 38-year-old boxer known as Del Boy last competed in July, defeating Kubrat Pulev by a split decision. It had been suggested that he fight Derek Chisora, but given that they had already fought twice, with Fury easily winning both times, it appeared to be little more than a joke. If this fight takes place, Tyson Fury will undoubtedly be the big favourite to win for the third time.
