According to sources cited in a tweet sent on September 22 by NBA insider and writer Shams Charania of The Athletic, the head coach had “an improper intimate and consensual relationship with a female member of the team staff”.
It has been suspended, the Celtics said in a statement on September 23. Many fans who sought to figure out who the claimed female employee was wrongly believed it to be Allison, the Celtics’ VP of Player Development. NOT TRUE, to be clear.
Allison Feaster Is Not Connected With The Ime Udoka Controversy
Allison, a 46-year-old former WNBA player, was unjustly included in the scandal involving Ime, the former Celtics head coach. The successful CEO and former athlete, however, is unrelated to the circumstance.
Allison Feaster is a married woman and her husband’s name is Danny Strong who is a vice president of player development with the Boston Celtics.
Allison Sharlene Feaster-Strong (born February 11, 1976) is a retired American professional at North Carolina State University, and has a daughter named Sarah with her net worth standing at $1 million.

The Celtics executive broadcasted an image of Marc’s tweet on her Instagram story quickly.

NBC Boston host Amina Smith recently discussed how following Ime’s suspension, fans were unfairly dragging women associated with the Celtics organisation on social media. Allison posted a video of this discussion in another Instagram story. Amina explained the situation as follows: “The public are dragging women in, near and around, the Celtics organisation on social media, ignorant Twitter sleuths copy and pasting pictures, accusing woman and harassing them.”
According to Allison’s LinkedIn profile, she has held positions as a consultant and programme director for America International Educational and Sports Management as well as a former employee of the NBA’s Basketball Operations Management Development Program. She has also played basketball professionally in the past for Spanish teams Uni Girona, Baloncesto Alcobendas, Baloncesto Perfumerias Avenida, and Deportivo Basket Zaragoza. Allison is a Harvard Business School and University graduate.
The Celtics haven’t commented on the rumours that Ime had a relationship with a female staff member as of this writing. Additionally, the head coach is silent on the allegations. Ime has been contacted by HITC on the aforementioned allegations, but as of this writing, no response has been received.
Ime’s suspension was ultimately made official by the NBA team yesterday after much anticipation over the previous few days. In response to the punishment, Ime also issued a statement, which NBAToday anchor Malika Andrews shared on Twitter. He expressed regret for putting the players and spectators in such a challenging predicament.
Up until a replacement is named, assistant coach Joe Mazzulla will preside as head coach.
Nia Long, a veteran actress, is a significant other of Coach Ime. Their first child, a boy named Kez Sunday Udoka, was born in 2011, after the couple had publicly started dating in 2010. Also in 2015, the two were engaged. Nia frequently shares Ime’s accomplishments online. She congratulated her boyfriend on the Celtics’ NBA Finals run on Instagram in May.
