Fans reported that Josh has been outspoken about targeting the TWICE member in the past. Nayeon has been the target of this overseas stalker’s attention since 2019. The sasaeng reportedly made numerous attempts to reach Nayeon back in 2021 as he apparently boarded the same airline as her to meet Nayeon. Josh also threatened to kill her if she started seeing someone else. Fans began to worry about the TWICE singer’s safety as a result of this threat from a sasaeng, and it appears that JYP Entertainment is now doing something about it.
Regarding Nayeon’s Stalker, JYP Entertainment Makes A Brief Comment
To reassure worried fans, JYP Entertainment, the company in charge of TWICE and Nayeon’s business affairs, issued a brief statement on Thursday, September 22. Fans got anxious to warn the label and implore them to protect Nayeon after Josh made it known that he was attempting to contact her. Since the company made a brief comment regarding the situation, it appears that they have been informed and are acting to safeguard the artist.
When asked about Nayeon’s safety, JYP Entertainment reportedly gives a statement. “We are discussing a reaction with the necessary department,” according to a report from XSports News, Korea. The agency has already attempted to stop Josh through the legal system, such as by requesting an injunction against him and filing a criminal complaint. But after that, Josh went back to Germany.
The organisation said, “Due to the service case, the request for an injunction against the stalker of Nayeon was withdrawn. When the foreigner arrives in South Korea, we shall continue.”
How Is Josh Not Locked Up Yet?
Fans are still worried about Nayeon, though. One supporter remarked, “Josh, Nayeon’s stalker, has arrived in Korea, it’s her birthday. And he’s definitely going to target birthday projects or celebration coffee trucks. Therefore JYPE needs to defend her. If restraining orders are never implemented, what good are they?”
