Between 1978 and 1991, Jeffrey sometimes referred to as the “Milwaukee Monster,” was able to kill and mutilate 17 men and young boys. After Jeffrey passed away in 1994, his family had to figure out how to hide from everyone.
You may already be aware that Jeffrey’s parents stood by him throughout his arrest, conviction, and execution, but the serial murderer also had a younger brother who assumed a different name in order to live out the remainder of his days in peace.
His name is David Dahmer and right now, many people are trying to find out more about him. So, here’s what we know about him:
Who Is David Dahmer?
David Dahmer was the less well-known younger brother of Jeffrey Dahmer, who was given a 16th life sentence for his horrible acts.
He was born on December 18, 1966, in Doylestown, Ohio. His father’s name was Lionel. His name was given by his brother Jeffrey. Because of his fortunate upbringing, his brother gradually started to dislike his brother.
When Jeffrey’s father and stepmother were interviewed on “Larry King Live” in June 2004, David’s name was mentioned for the first time. Lionel, Jeffrey’s father, mentioned his younger son David and requested for privacy because he had changed his name.
According to Shari Dahmer, his stepmother, David had established a job and was content with his family; at the time, he was also expecting a second kid.
He had a different personality from his brother. On the one hand, Jeffrey was a quiet and reserved youngster, whereas David was extroverted and popular. In any case, David received more attention from his parents, who disregarded Jeffrey.
David hid from the public after his brother’s passing. Soon after Jeffrey was slain in jail, he received his degree from the University of Cincinnati and took on a new life. David declined requests for interviews and distanced himself entirely from the Dahmer family. His current whereabouts are unknown.
