The victory marked the 17-year-first old’s Tour-level victory, making her the youngest winner since 2021’s Parma victory by Coco Gauff and the youngest Czech since 2006’s Nicole Vaidisova.

Linda Fruhvirtova is a well-known Czech professional Tennis player. She has been in the news because she recently won the WTA Chennai Open title after defeating Magda Linette.
She was born on 1 May 2005 in Prague, Czech Republic. His father’s name is Hynek and his mother’s name is Martina. She has a younger sister named Brenda, who is also a tennis player.
She began her training in 2017 at the Mouratoglou Academy in Southern France, and in January 2021, she also attended the Evert Tennis Academy.
Her height is 1.72 m or 5 ft 8 inches. She is currently 17 years old.
Her Career
In December 2021, Linda Fruhvirtova, a talented junior player, attained a career-high singles rating of number two in the junior rankings.
Overall, she won five junior championships, including four in 2021 in her junior career. In Wimbledon in 2021, she achieved her greatest singles performance at a junior grand slam, making it to the semifinals before falling to eventual champion Ane Mintegi Del Olmo of Spain in the last four.
Additionally, she won four junior doubles championships in her junior career, two of which she shared with her sister Brenda in 2021.
At the 2020 Prague Open, Linda Fruhvirtova made her WTA Tour debut in the main tournament. She was given a wildcard for the main draw, however, she was defeated by fellow countrywoman Kristyna Pliskova in the opening round.
At the Charleston Open in 2021, she triumphed in her maiden WTA Tour singles contest. She defeated France’s Alize Cornet, who retired in the third set, after being given a wildcard into the main tournament, 6-2 6-7 4-4.
After defeating Emma Navarro in straight sets, Linda continued on to Charleston’s third round where she eventually fell to Astra Sharma of Australia. She competed in the WTA 1000 Miami Open in March 2022, making it to the fourth round before falling to the fifth-seeded Paula Badosa.
Recently, she won the WTA Chennai Open title with her currently ranked 74 in women singles with 761 points.
