Broadway longest-running musical show, The Phantom of the Opera, is finally coming to an end in early 2023 after 35 years, know about the tickets and dates

The famous part of the show, Chandelier, will drop its presence for the last time on February 18, 2023, at New York City’s Majestic Theatre.

The showrunners has made it official as they announced via their official website that, “We are sad to confirm that after 35 years on Broadway, Phantom will play its final performance at the Majestic Theatre on Saturday, February 18th, 2023.”
As for the tickets, they are still available for the 2022 and January 2023 show, though as per the showrunners they are soon going to put a final block on the tickets.
If you also want to watch Andrew Lloyd Webber’s iconic show but haven’t gotten your hands on the tickets, do it soon because it’s your last chance as it’s the final show.
The tickets for the iconic musical that is based on a French author Gaston Leroux’s novel, are still available on the websites of both The Phantom of the Opera and Broadway.
If you’re desiring to watch the show this Sunday, September 18th, the tickets on the official site will cost you around $74 to $258.
Though the same tickets are priced at $79.65 to $322.65 on the official website of Broadway.
The prices for the tickets vary as per the dates and seating availability. If you book your tickets a week prior to the date you wish to attend, you are likely to get the ticket at a low price.
According to reports, the tickets for the musical show are also available on Seat Geek. The site sells tickets for the show at around $30.

As per a report by the New York Times, Broadway was badly hit due to the Covid-19 pandemic as the country has been under the lockdown.
Even though the lockdown is over now, still many theatregoers have not returned.
Like many other shows, Phantom of the Opera has not been selling enough tickets, due to which maintaining the show was quite difficult for the showrunners.
In January 2023, the iconic show will celebrate its 35th-year anniversary and on February 18th, it will see its final show.
