Fans of Splatoon 3 were in for a treat with yesterday’s Nintendo Direct, which also revealed details of the first Splatfest to be held for the game following its release, know the post launch date
The first post-launch Splatfest for Splatoon 3 will start on September 23, 2022, at 5:00 PM Pacific Time and last through September 25, 2022, at 5:00 PM Pacific Time. Additionally, Nintendo has confirmed that the shooter will receive numerous additional free planned feature upgrades in the upcoming months.

Fans noticed an Octoling wearing what appeared to be a wrestling helmet along with a hip-knit sweater in the Splatfest Direct trailer, leading them to believe that costume collectables may be next.
Splatfests have always had a special place in the hearts of Inklings and Octolings everywhere. During the celebration, participants check in to support one of the three causes and compete in the game mode. The winners are allowed to promote their opinions on the posted questions.
What to anticipate from the inaugural Splatfest for Splatoon 3
Splatfests are among the most eagerly awaited occasions that the Splatoon community watches out for occasionally. It’s a typical online competition in which participants must choose their teams based on a specific topic.

Nintendo revealed the details of the forthcoming Splatfest during the Direct event:
“What would you bring to a deserted island? Tools, food, or something to pass the time? What a tough research question—surely you must have flinched hearing it. Wait, you’re saying we flinched, too? It might be that desert heat getting to everyone. Anyways! Choose which team you’d like to throw ink for and dive onto the battlefield!”
The objective of the next Splatfest will be to ink as much of the stage as you can, and the more games one team wins, the closer they’ll be to taking the championship.
The first Splatfest for Splatoon 3 will also feature the thrilling 4v2v2 game variant Tricolor Turf Wars. When it goes live later this month, it will be interesting to see how the event unfolds.
The first Splatfest for Splatoon 3 will mostly follow the same format as the previous Splatoon event, though there might be some slight changes to the gameplay this time.
