SAFF Women’s Championship Latest Results, Schedule, India vs Bangladesh Match Schedule, And Other Details
The Indian women’s team will play Bangladesh in their last group league match of the SAFF Women’s Championship 2022 on September 13. Despite the consecutive victory over Pakistan and Maldives, head coach Suren Chettri is not in the mood for complacency as the match will decide group winner. Blue Tigresses defeated Bangladesh 4-0 when two teams faced off in the semifinals of SAFF Women’s Championship in 2019. India will enter the match following a two-day break, and the coach insisted that the team’s focus has been on maintaining a positive attitude and practicing a few field strategies.
On Monday, Nepal defeated Sri Lanka with a score of 6-0 in a Group B match and advanced to the semi-final after topping their group. Hence, loser of India’s match against Bangladesh will play in-form Nepal in semi-final while the winner of India vs Bangladesh will play Bhutan in the semi-final.
