Pramod Madushan is a Sri Lankan cricketer. He has been in the news because he has played outstandingly in the finals of the Asia Cup 2022 against Pakistan and made his teamโs win easier.
His full name is Pramod Madushan Liyanagamage. He was born on 14 December 1993 in Hambantota, Sri Lanka.
He attended BMS, Sri Lanka.
In 2012, he moved to Melbourne, Victoria, Australia. But currently, he is now living in Colombo, Sri Lanka.
According to his Facebook profile, he has been in a relationship with someone since 2016. However, his partner’s name is still unknown.
He is currently 28 years old with his height standing at 5 feet 9 inches.
His Career
On February 5, 2015, Pramod Madushan made his first-class debut for Tamil Union Cricket and Athletic Club during the 2014โ15 Premier Trophy. On March 15, 2017, he made his List A debut for the Jaffna District during the District’s One Day Tournament for the 2016โ17 season.
He was included in Kandy’s team for April 2018 Super Provincial One Day Tournament. He was selected for the Sri Lanka A team in June 2022 in preparation for their games against Australia A during Australia’s trip to Sri Lanka.
He was also included in Sri Lanka’s One Day International (ODI) team for their series against Australia in that same month. On June 24, 2022, he played his first ODI for Sri Lanka against Australia.
He was bought by the Dambulla Giants in July 2022 to play in the 3rd Lanka Premier League. He was selected for Sri Lanka’s T20I team for the 2022 Asia Cup in August 2022. On September 9, 2022, he played in his first T20I match against Pakistan.
