After some uncertainty over penalties following the halt, French driver Victor Martins won the 2022 FIA Formula 3 Championship title. Martins was in a three-way race for the title with Prema Racing’s Ollie Bearman and Trident’s Zane Maloney.

Martins, who had been running in third place before to the halt, was given a penalty and dropped to fourth. Martins was then moved back to fourth and awarded the victory after William Alatalo (Jenzer), who had previously finished in fourth, was also given a penalty.
Bearman came in third, while Maloney finished second in the championship by a margin of five points. In the sprint race, Maloney came out on top, followed by Bearman in second and teammate Jak Crawford in third.

Victor Martins is a well-known French driver. He has recently been in the news because he won the 2022 FIA Formula 3 Championship title.
He was born in France’s Quincy-sous-Sénart on June 16, 2001. His father is Portuguese, while his mother is French. He holds French nationality.
