The Yuva Kabaddi series is split in two editions: Summer and Monsoon. The summer edition was won by Murthal Magnets. The summer edition was a success and now the competition is ready for its monsoon edition.

The summer edition showcased a total of 11 teams with more than 200 players involved. The summer edition was won by Murthal Magnets when they beat the Periyar Panthers in the final.
The monsoon edition will feature a total of 10 teams and the season opener will be played between last year’s finalists: Murthal Magnets and Periyar Panthers.

YKS Monsoon Edition 2022 Schedule:
The monsoon edition of the Yuva Kabaddi series will take place from the 10th of September until the 21st of October.
Venue: The Yuva Kabaddi Series Monsoon Edition 2022 will be held on Harivansh Tana Bhagat Indoor Stadium, Khel Gaon, Ranchi.
Format: The 10 teams will battle for the championship through four rounds. The tournament will start with a survival round, each team will play against one another in a round-robin format. After the survival round is over, two out of ten teams will be eliminated and the remaining eight teams will then move into the Booster Round.

More on YKS: The inaugural edition of the YKS started in May 2022 in Jaipur Rajasthan. The first edition was won by Maratha Marvels after defeating Periyar Panthers in the final. The winning team took home Rs 20 lakh rupees while the first and second runner up took Rs 10 lakhs and 5 lakhs respectively.
