After losing by three goals to Mohammedan SC in the first quarterfinal of the Durand Cup on Friday at the Salt Lake stadium, Kerala Blasters FC was eliminated from the competition. The home team won the game thanks to goals from SK Faiaz and a brace from Abiola Dauda and broke hearts of the young Kerala Blasters FC team.

2022 Durand Cup Mohammedan SC vs Kerala Blasters Results, Score, Winner, And Odisha FC vs Bengaluru FC Preview
The young and promising Kerala Blasters team was defeated by Kolkata’s Mohammedan Sporting team 3-0 in the opening Durand Cup 2022 quarterfinal match on Friday. Mohammedan had an easy journey to the final four thanks to a brace from rookie Nigerian Abiola Dauda and a goal by SK Faiaz. In the semi-final, Mohammedan will face the winner of quarterfinal match between Mumbai City and Chennaiyin.
On Saturday, September 10, at the Salt Lake Stadium in Kolkata, the two ISL heavyweights Bengaluru FC and Odisha FC will square off in the second quarterfinal match. Bengaluru FC had to fight hard to advance from the Group of Death, which also includes both of the most recent Durand Cup champions. Meanwhile, Odisha put on fantastic displays during the group rounds and won all four matches during group stages to top the group.
