Both Tokyo Olympics and Paralympics games are just few days away. The opening ceremony of the marquee event will be held on July 23.

Tokyo Olympics merchandise made available: Know how to buy in Japan

On Thursday it was announced that the games would be held without spectators due to the rising COVID-19 cases in the city. But there is some relief for all the sports fan out there as they can still get into the Olympic spirit as the merchandise for the Games have been made available.

People can buy merchandises from the shops which are based on Olympic and Paralympic are opening up slowly in the city. The merchandise available in these shops are face masks, flags, T-shirts, hats and a yukata set. The softer versions of the Olympics mascot is also available for children of all ages.

Shops where the Tokyo Olympic merchandise are available

There are a total of 20 shops in Tokyo where these official merchandises are available. These are :

1.  Ginza: This shop is slated to open on July 9. Its location is Tokyu Plaza Ginza B2F, Ginza, Chuo. Its timing is 11:00am-9:00pm daily.

2. Odaiba: The shop is located at Aqua City Odaiba 3F, 1-7-1, Daiba, Minato. Its timing is 11:00am-9:00pm daily.

3. Shinjuku West Shop: The shop is located at Bic Camera Shinjuku West Store 2F, 1-5-1, Nishi-Shinjuku, Shinjuku. Its timing is 10:00am-9:00pm daily.

4. Tokyo Skytree: This shop is located at Tokyo Solamachi East Yard 3F and B3F 1-1-2, Oshiage, Sumida. Its timing is 10am-9pm daily.

5. Ueno-Okachimachi: This shop is slated to open from July 14. It is located at Matzuzakaya Ueno Store Parkplace 24 1F, 3-25-10, Ueno, Taito.

6. Sapporo Shop: The shop is located at BicCamera Sapporo Store 1F,2-1, Kita-5-jonishi, Chuo-ku, Sapporo-shi, Hokkaido. Its timing is 10am-9pm.

7. Aomori Shop: This shop is located at Ito-Yokado Aomori Store 1F,1-14-1, Hamada, Aomori-shi, Aomori. Its timing is 10am-8pm.

8. Morioka Shop: This shop is located at KojimaxBicCamera Morioka Store 2F, 1-27-1, Moriokaekinishitori, Morioka-shi, lwate. Its timing is 10am-8pm.
