‘Khichdi’ star Punit Talreja was attacked with an iron rod and other weapons in Thane. It is reported that the Television actor Punit Talreja, who featured in the popular sitcom “Khichdi”, was injured after two people allegedly hit him in Maharashtra’s district Thane.
The incident took place on Sunday night in Ambernath township when Punit Talreja, was returning home on his scooter after purchasing medicines for his mother.
Two people on another scooter behind him honked, came in front of Punit, abused him for not giving them the way and allegedly attacked him with a rod of iron and other weapons. An official from the Shivaji Nagar police station in Ambernath quoted the actor’s complaint of being abused and beaten.
