Big names who got snub from India A squad got a chance in thier Zone sides
The teams for the Duleep trophy 2022-23 are out and international players like Rahane, Vihari and Iyer are taking part in the tournament. Last week the List A squad for 3 unofficial tests against New Zealand A was announced in which these players were not included. BCCI dropped marquee names like Ajinkya, Vihari, and Aggarwal from India A squad so that they can be available for Duleep Trophy.

Prize money for Duleep Trophy winner
BCCI has recently announced the prize money for India’s prestigious domestic competition. The winning team in the Duleep Trophy will get 30 Lakh INR followed by the runner-up with 15 Lakh INR. Duleep Trophy is the second most platinum domestic competition in India after the Ranji Trophy.
