The ninth day of the Ultimate Kho Kho League featured numerous exciting matches as Odisha Juggernauts defeated Rajasthan Warriors by a score of 51-45 in the opening match of Thursday. Following that, Gujarat Giants defeated Telugu Yoddhas by a score of 51-48 in the second match at the Shree Shiv Chhatrapati Sports Complex in Mahalunge, Pune.

Odisha Juggernauts vs Rajasthan Warriors Match Events
After the Juggernauts’ Defenders put on a valiant performance, the Warriors’ Attackers were sluggish on the mat, but finally built a 17-point lead with the aid of five Sky Dives and three running touches. As they found themselves in the lead for the first time in this tournament at the end of the first inning after securing a six-point advantage in turn 2, the Warriors appeared to be a different team in their defense.
Warriors had a slim 16-point lead going into the last Turn because they committed too many mistakes in the third Turn. This wasn’t enough for them, though, as the Odisha Juggernauts turned the tables on Rajasthan Warriors in the closing seconds and won by a score of six points to take top position in the standings.
Gujarat Giants vs Telugu Yoddhas Match Events
In the first seven minutes of the game, the Yoddhas displayed superior play and defeated the Giants by a score of 19 points. Later, with 27 points each, the score stayed even at the midway point.
With the help of three Sky Dives and five Running Touches in this Turn, the Yoddhas gathered 19 attack points by the conclusion of the third instalment, giving them a 15-point lead. This match had all the makings of a suspenseful thriller going into the last turn, but Gujarat came out fighting in the final three minutes, taking the lead just in time to win the game 51-48.
