On Tuesday, August 23, FFXIV servers should be back online by 3 am PDT, 6 am EDT, and 11 am BST, according to the team’s posted plan. This implies that Final Fantasy 14 Worlds will be unavailable for roughly eight hours, however, the exact duration is pending.
Square Enix’s letter addressing the fan explains:
“To implement Patch 6.2, maintenance will take place on all Worlds… We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause, and we thank you for your understanding. The Home World Transfer Service and the Data Center Travel System will be suspended 30 minutes before maintenance begins, and will be unavailable until maintenance has ended.”
“Some quests have been updated to reflect changes to various monsters and trials. The overall plot of the story won’t be changed by these changes.
“Please check the duty list and journal if you are presently working on a mission in A Realm Reborn because the details might have changed. You will be prompted to reject the original mission and accept the new one if the assignment has been amended.”
