In a recent interview, Lazio manager Maurizio Sarri claimed that managing Ronaldo was not an easy task for him. Moreover, Sarri managed Ronaldo for one season at Juventus and won the Seria A title. The relationship between both of them was not good from the start and it was one of the main reasons why Sarri was fired. Sarri is one of the best managers in the world and has managed different world-class players at Chelsea, Juventus, and Napoli.

In a recent interview with radio station Sport Italia Maurizio Sarri said, “Ronaldo’s management is not simple, from all points of view.” Sarri also added that Ronaldo is a multinational company and he has personal interests that must coincide with football. He added ‘I am a coach, not a manager. Ronaldo, however, brings the numbers at the end of the year. But in recent years, I hear a lot about players and little about teams.”
Sarri managed the old lady for only one season where he clinched the Seria A title. However, Ronaldo scored 30 goals under him and it is his highest in the Italian League. Moreover, the relationship between the two was not good as Sarri replaced Ronaldo in one of the League matches and Ronaldo was not happy.
