Saina Nehwal Congratulates Yogi Adityanath For Thumping Victory In UP Zila Panchayat Election

Star tennis player Saina Nehwal congratulated UP CM Yogi Adityanath for BJP’s victory in the UP Zila Panchayat 2021 election

Bhartiya Janta Party claimed of winning 67 posts out of the total 75 posts in the local poll elections in Uttar Pradesh. Tennis sensation Saina Nehwal seemed overwhelmed by the victory marked by BJP in UP, she congratulated UP CM Yogi Adityanath. RLD president Jayant Chaudhary prompted a sharp comment on Saina Nehwal, he stated that the ace tennis player of India is a “Sarkari Shuttler”.

Saina stated her support to BJP via a tweet on Saturday night. In the tweet, she said, “Hearty congratulations to Yogi Adityanath for thumping victory in UP elections.” Post this tweet the player has been criticized by ministers from various other parties for showing support to BJP.

Tennis Player Saina Nehwal Supports BJP Ensuing Result

Saina Nehwal became a member of the Bhartiya Janta Party back in 2020 during the Delhi Assembly Elections. Before joining BJP, Saina was focused on her tennis career only but these days she is an active politician and never fails to make strong political statements.

Almost one and a half post-Saina’s tweet, Jayant Chaudhary, President of Rashtriya Lok Dal tweeted “Sarkari Shuttler recognizes BJP skills in smashing people’ verdict. Also, he added that according to him the voters should play a decent drop shot on all celebrities that try to influence them in any way.

Whereas, Samajwadi Party’s Chief is accusing BJP of mocking people for the sake of votes. There are rumors that BJP has kidnapped UP residents and forcibly attained votes from them. Also, Akhilesh Yadav stated that the poll results seem quite strange to him as people were earlier favoring his party.

In states like Uttar Pradesh, the polls for Panchayat are held irrespective of the party symbol. That’s why the election commission doesn’t announce any party’s victory. However, the candidates winning belong to some of the other party so the people can make a gross judgment about the ruling party.
