The group first launched their charity match service back in 2016 and went on to turn it into an annual event tradition in the following years.
However, it was postponed for years due to a pandemic, but finally it is back in 2022.
The event match will feature the Sidemen crew team up as Sidemen FC. Their opponents will be fellow YouTubers who would play under the team name as YouTube Allstars.
When is the Sidemen Charity Match 2022 Set to Take Place?
The Charity Match 2022 of Sidemen is all locked in for Saturday, September 24. Tickets for the Charity match are already on sale since today, Aug 8, revealing the official date for this highly-anticipated match.
Where will the Charity Match 2022 Held?
As per the last two matches, they were held at the Valley Stadium in London. These matches roughly allowed 15,000 fans who could watch the match live. All tickets are now sold out.
However, Sidemen are keeping up with the tradition in 2022 too as the upcoming charity match is all set to go down at the Valley Stadium once again.
Though the seating capacity has increased from 15,000 to 27,000. But it’s still unclear if more fans will be allowed in this time around.
However, there is good news for those who aren’t able to attend in person, they can tune in for a live-stream.
Fans are able to donate to the cause and the match to support the charity or group of charities that the stars had chosen to donate to for the event.
Though the announcement video didn’t give away much details about this aspect, it is likely that the event will follow a similar set up.
Which YouTubers will be competing?
The highlight of the event is seeing the most popular YouTubers come together to take on the Sidemen Crew. Previously, we have seen the YouTubers like DJ Mario, ChrisMD, Calfreezy and many more.
In the announcement video, the crew of Sidemen teased 3 huge names that would be massive draw cards for the event. In the video, the crew features Logan Paul, Noah Beck and Chunkz while discussing those who will be taking part.
Many fans are excited after hearing the name of Noah Beck inclusion given how skilled of a soccer player he has proven himself to be in previous charity matches.
Though these 3 are already on board, chances are there will be many other high profile YouTubers who are going to participate in this charity event. As the event is going to return after a break of years, this is definitely going to be the biggest Sidemen Charity event to the date.
