The ECB has announced that The hundred men’s and women’s competitions will have equal prize money. The total sum of prize money is ยฃ600,000 which will be divided into two equal parts.
The Hundred prize money and salaries ; Winning team ยฃ150,000 ; Runners-up ยฃ75,000 ; Third place ยฃ50,000 ; MVP ยฃ10,000 ; Leading runs ยฃ5,000.

As the slogan suggests both men’s and women’s cricketers in the competition will get equal prize money for the first time. The players like Joe root, and Heather Knight posed with gestures of ‘=’ with their hands to promote the initiative run by ECB.
The EachforEqual initiative refers to Equal sacrifice, Equal Grit, Equal determination, and Equal prize money. The movement basically refers to the gender-balanced sport.
