In women’s hockey, India defeated Cananda 3-2 to finish second in the Pool A. Team India will now play World Champion Australia in the semifinal. There will be other exciting Indian events in Day 9.
India has managed to win 20 medals in this competition and is certainly looking to add more on Day 9. While Australia is currently leading the medal tally with 133 medals, including 50 gold, 44 silver and 39 bronze.
