On the final day of 2022 Commonwealth Games Artistic Gymnastics, Jake Jarman bagged his fourth gold medal for England while Joe Fraser and Alice Kinsella also won gold medal in their respective events. Meanwhile, Cyprus claimed history-making gold on the men’s high bar event thanks to a superb performance by Ilias Georgiou.

CWG 2022 Artistic Gymnastics Events, Results, Upcoming Schedule, Date, Time, And Venue
Jake Jarman, England’s rising star, got the last day of the artistic gymnastics competition off to a strong start for the home country. The 20-year-old won the vault final on Tuesday, winning a fourth gold medal of Birmingham 2022 in just his second significant international competition. Additionally, Jarman took home victories in the floor exercise, men’s team, and individual all-around. Elsewhere, Joe Fraser of England won his third gold medal of the competition on the parallel bars, an apparatus in which he won the world championship in 2019.
Kate McDonald narrowly edged out Georgia Godwin, the all-around winner, to win the gold medal in beam competition. Meanwhile, Ilias Georgiou of Cyprus won the breathtaking high bar to give his country its first-ever artistic gymnastics gold medal. When the results were released, which put him ahead of Australia’s Tyson Bull, his teammate and coaches began to dance wildly. Ilias joined Marios Georgiou, Ilias’ teammate and namesake, on the podium for a Cyprus celebration.
