In swimming, the 100-metre freestyle event, Chalmers secured the gold after beating England’s Tom Dean.

Following the Chalmers gold win, Kaylee Mckeown brought another gold and silver to the Aussies in 200m backstroke and 200m individual event.

Matthew Levy bagged the third gold for Australia on day four by winning the men’s 50m event in style.

In a 4x200m women’s freestyle event, Australia created a Commonwealth Games record by securing the gold handsomely.
Apart from swimming, Australia bagged gold medals in judo, lawn bowls, gymnastics and cycling.
In total Australia has won 71 medals including 31 gold, 20 silver and 20 bronze till day four of the competition.
On the other side, the visitors are trying their best to reach the Aussy’s medal count. England is in the second position with 54 medals including 21 gold, 22 silver and 11 bronze.
New Zealand is in the third position with 24 medals including 13 gold, 7 silver and 4 bronze.
Talking about India, it was again a great day for the Indians at CWG, 22. India managed to secure three medals on day four and reached a medal tally of 9 Overall.

This will be an interesting competition between England and Australia during the whole competition.
