Recently, a famous Egyptian TikToker named Tala Safwan was arrested by the police authorities in Saudi Arabia. According to the media sources, this TikTok star was caught by Arabian cops for uploading some “sexually suggestive content” on her social media handle. Tala Safwan was held by cops on the 25th of July, 2022 which was Monday.

Tala Safwan Arrest
The social media influencer Tala Safwan was arrested by the police authorities after uploading a live video on TikTok. In the video, she was seen talking to a Saudi female friend. In that clip which has been seen suspicious, Tala asked her friend to pay her a visit to her as she was feeling a bit lonely.
As per the media reports taken out of Al Jazeera, when Safwan’s pal told her she wouldn’t be able to come as it was too late, Tala allegedly went on to say, “Even better, because everyone will be asleep and they won’t hear what I’ll do to you. They won’t hear your screams… from how much fun we will be having.”
Since then, the video has gone viral and Tala has received a lot of criticism for the same video on different social media handles. Soon afterward the video went viral, and a hashtag was made which translates to “Tala offends society”. Along with the video, this hashtag was also trending on the micro-blogging site of Twitter.
Tala then stated that her video was misinterpreted by the people. She has expressed her thoughts in the video. As Tala has stated ‘there was no “lesbian subtext” in her comments under the video she shared. She also stated that ‘her comments were misunderstood by several social media users online and on various online platforms.
People are not at all satisfied with her statement and are demanding legal action against her. However, many of her fans and well-wishers are also supporting as well as defending her. Many other influencers in Saudi Arabia are also facing criticism these days.
While Tala’s date of birth isn’t known, she was born in 2001 and is aged 21 years while her net worth stands at $100,000.
