A Social Media star and influencer, Gena Tew has been using video-sharing platform TikTok to discuss her diagnosis with AIDS and to share her journey with her fans and followers, know her age, story, illness, net worth

Gena Tew is a social media star, who enjoys a fanbase of more than 401 thousand followers on TikTok, and under 20 thousand followers on Instagram.
So far, she has been sharing videos about her diagnosis with AIDS and keeping her fans and followers in the loop with the journey.
In a statement, Gena said that although her page is not meant to be educational or a documentary, she does “appreciate that people are getting awareness about AIDS”.

Gena Opened up about AIDS Diagnosis
Gena has addressed so many questions from her followers and fans about her AIDS diagnosis and has opened up about how she got the disease.
In a post she revealed that she doesn’t know who gave her the disease. She also revealed about being homeless. Her net worth stands at $100,000.
She said, “I do not know who gave it to me or where I got it, all I know is that because I was so sick to the point of death, they said I had to have had it for eight to ten years. At that time frame, I was in New York City and I was homeless”.
She also revealed about being assaulted while living in New York. She also said that she had gotten free tattoos, so it “could have been from a dirty needle”.
Her mobility has been affected due to the disease and she has shared several updates with her fans and followers about her wheelchair including a post that she had posted in May, where she talked about how she still couldn’t walk.
Later, in June, the 27-year-old star shared a video from the first few days when she found out that she had AIDS when she was in hospital.
As per her statement in that video, she was “so weak” that she couldn’t speak properly.
At the end of the month June, Gena told her fans and followers that she was “still weak” but she’s “trying every day”.
Later, in July she revealed that she was now able to roll herself in her wheelchair.
