Uh oh, more Roblox drama. This time they are changing the Roblox death sound. 😔 #Roblox has spent over 200 MILLION $ to keep the oof and now they are removing it.
I think 2022 has been Roblox’s WORST year.

A NEW DEATH Audio EFFECT IS IN ROBLOX
Many Roblox players shared the new death effect’s sound on Twitter. Several gamers were surprised by how the new audio differed from the original “oof” in the game.
By selecting the “Reset Character” option from the menu, you can hear the audio while playing the game. The new death sound effect for Roblox will play after you click “Reset” one more.
Fans adored the original “oof” sound effect from Roblox. Therefore, when the online game’s Twitter account announced that it was being withdrawn, some players experienced intense nostalgia and even sadness.

The “oof” sound has been deleted from Roblox owing to a licencing issue, and a new default sound has been designed and launched as a result, according to a tweet from the game’s developers.
The new death sound effects on Roblox have drawn criticism from several fans who believe it sounds like a moan on Twitter.
This agreement no longer exists; either it expired or there was a dispute. Roblox has been contacted by us for further details. Whatever the cause for the sound’s disappearance, it is a sad day for devoted Roblox players who will have to say goodbye to a sound that has become so closely associated with the game that it can be heard on playgrounds all over the world.
Tallarico came to an agreement with Roblox whereby anyone creating a Roblox game experience had to pay $1 (or 100 Robux) to be able to utilise the sound in their work. The effect was initially created for the FPS Messiah, released in 2000. Also committed was Tallarico to “create further premium sounds for the game.”
