Dillon might have easily destroyed the officer, but he maintained his composure and refrained from playing the Packers card. What was the officer thinking, even if Dillon was simply a fan and not a Packers running back?

What just happened there?

The incident occurred on Saturday when Dillon jumped down onto the field to engage with spectators during a weather delay at the Manchester City vs. FC Bayern game.

Two security officers, according to Dillon, allowed him to go on the field and assisted him in getting out of his seat “so I could make a Lambeau leap and excite the audience.”

Videos, however, appear to show that one officer misunderstood the situation and assaulted the tailback as he prepared to leap over the wall behind one of the end zones. The 24-year-old was subsequently released by the officer, who later said that despite the interaction’s hostile character, he wasn’t upset at all.

Dillon has tweeted about the incident on Twitter

On Sunday, Dillon posted on his Twitter account, “Just a mistake between parties.” “I’m delighted we have the @GBPolice down there for our games to keep us safe since they are wonderful people. It’s challenging to understand what’s happening with just one while everyone is gathered there in the pouring rain. All is well.”

Official statement from Green Bay Police Department

It is evident that there was a miscommunication between the Officer and Mr. Dillon, a spokeswoman for the Green Bay Police Department told TMZ Sports.

“The Green Bay Police Department values Mr. Dillon’s viewpoint and encouraging remarks. A review into this incident has been started by the Professional Standards/Internal Affairs Division of the Green Bay Police Department.”

Dillon, meanwhile, is expected to play a significant role in the team’s offence this season and is scheduled to report to the Packers training camp this week.
