Know about who is Rickey as Paddy The Baddy Pimblett mentions a friend who committed suicide two days before UFC London in a sad post-fight interview

Following an excellent submission victory against Jordan Leavitt at UFC London, Paddy Pimblett exposed his frail side to the crowd. When he did his “tea bag” celebration on Leavitt, “The Baddy” kept his word. As he has become accustomed to doing during his first two fights in the UFC, he continued to celebrate by sprinting around the octagon and scaling the fence.

Nevertheless, Pimblett’s attitude changed when he spoke with Michael Bisping after the bout. When the Liverpudlian disclosed that he had lost a friend who reportedly had mental health problems, he lost his normal frenetic and cheerful personality.

“I woke up on Friday morning at 4 A.M. to a message that one of my friends back home had killed himself… This was five hours before my weigh-in. So Ricky, lad, that’s for you,” reported Sportskeeda.

Then Pimblett seized the chance to refute the idea that males shouldn’t discuss their issues. The 27-year-old frail man concluded his interview by addressing individuals experiencing mental health problems as he said that in this world, it’s considered taboo for men to speak. He also asked to talk to someone if, as a male, one feel that the only way to relieve the pressure on the shoulders is by killing yourself.

The former featherweight champion of Cage Warriors then started crying inside the octagon. Pimblett was captured on camera sobbing uncontrollably as he left the octagon.

Following his victory by submission against Jordan Leavitt in their lightweight contest at the O2 Arena in London, England, Paddy Pimblett maintained his winning streak on Saturday. Pimblett, who is arguably the most well-known British fighter currently competing in the UFC, made his octagon debut in September 2021 and has so far lived up to the expectations with three straight victories on his UFC record.

Leavitt, though, didn’t make things simple for Pimblett. Early on, the American assumed the role of the aggressor as he advanced and used his wrestling to try to keep Pimblett grounded.

However, Pimblett naturally demonstrated the validity of his reputation as one of the most risky prospects in the UFC. The Scouser added to his already enormous hype riskiestound two by grabbing his opponent’s back and locking in a rear-naked choke for the finish.
