Manipur’s Solimlo Jajo and Solan Jajo, members of team India at the 54th Asian Bodybuilding & Physique Sports Championships 2022 taking place in the Maldives, have been recognised with a silver medal and fourth place in the same category, know the results and Indian winners
Solimla Jajo, also 17, of Kasom Khullen village won the silver medal in the 165 cm Senior Model Physique competition, while Solan Jajo, also 17, of Leishi village placed fourth in the 160 cm Senior Model Physique division. The settlements of Leishi and Kasom Khullen are located in the Kamjong district.

Team India was represented by seven people overall, including Solimla and Solan, during the seven-day 54th Asian Bodybuilding & Physique Sports Championship-2022, which is set to end on July 21.
Prior to the Maldives tournament, both competitors underwent rigorous preparation at the Royal Gym in Ukhrul, 85 km north of Imphal, under the direction of coach L Robert.
