For those who are wondering what the upcoming film is about, let us tell you, the forthcoming movie of the NFL player is a sports comedy directed by Kyle Marvin.

As per reports, the story of the film revolves around 4 elderly female friends and longtime New England Patriots fans who travel to Houston to watch their hero Tom Brady and the famous play of Super Bowl LI.

The film is based on a true story and when it was the Super Bowl LI, in which Brady’s Pats defeated the Atlanta Falcons, four elderly friends got together to go watch him in that game, and that story forms the basis of the script for ’80 for Brady.’

The real-life “Over 80 for Brady” fan club was made up of Elaine St Martin, Betty Pensavalle and their three other friends, Anita, Pat and Claire.

Release Date

As per reports, Paramount Pictures will release the upcoming movie in the United States on Friday, February 3, 2023.

The legendary actress and activist, Jane Fonda, opened up during the press tour of the movie about her long-time obsession over Brady.

The 85-year-old actress has admitted to being “completely starstruck,” while working with the veteran footballer.

In her statement, Fonda claimed that, “He was kind and humble, which is difficult to believe given how brilliant he is at what he does, but it’s true. He was also sweet and polite.”

Meanwhile, another actress, Lily Tomlin, who’s also one of he 4 leads, described Tom as an “good actor” and “very personable and unassuming,” in an conversation with THR.
