Venue
This marks a significant return to India, where the Miss World pageant was last held in 1996 in Bengaluru. The iconic venues for this yearโs edition include the Jio World Convention Centre in Mumbai, the G-20 venue, and the Bharat Mandapam in New Delhi.
The festivities kick off with โThe Opening Ceremonyโ and โIndia Welcomes the World Galaโ at Hotel Ashok in New Delhi on February 20, presented by the India Tourism Development Corporation (ITDC).
Finale Date
The highly anticipated 71st Miss World Global Finale will take place on March 9 at the Jio World Convention Centre in Mumbai. The event promises glamour, elegance, and international excitement.

Competitions
The pageant will feature various competitions, including the World Top Designer Award, Miss World Top Model, Miss World Sports Challenge, Miss World Talent Final, Multi-Media Challenge, and the Head To Head Challenge Final.
The Continental Beauty With A Purpose Challenge is scheduled for February 21 at the Bharat Mandapam in New Delhi. The Miss World Red Carpet Special will add a touch of glamour to the grand finale at the Jio World Convention Centre in Mumbai.
Sini Shetty, Femina Miss India World 2022, will represent India at the prestigious pageant, hosting contestants from 120 countries. With a background in Finance and Accounting, Bharatnatyam training, and a significant social media presence, Sini brings a blend of talent and charisma to the international stage.
Since Reita Faria Powell in 1966, India has seen several Miss World titleholders, including Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Diana Hayden, Yukta Mookhey, Priyanka Chopra Jonas, and Manushi Chhillar.
The most recent titleholder, Karolina Bielawska from Poland, will pass on the crown at the conclusion of this extraordinary event.
