The competition will take place in Valencia, starting from December 15 to 22, featuring 10 matches in a round-robin format.

Team India will play a total of four matches, with star dragflicker Harmanpreet Singh leading the Indian team besides head coach Craig Fulton. The competition will serve as a preparatory event for the upcoming FIH Pro League 2023–24 matches.

While speaking about the team selection, Indian Men’s Hockey Team Chief Coach Craig Fulton stated:

We are going with a well-balanced side with a good mix of youth and experience. The tournament provides us with a great platform to try out different things and adjust ourselves accordingly. It also provides the younger players with a great opportunity to showcase their talent and experience the pressure of facing the top teams in the world.”

He further shared how the team are gearing up for the next seven months which features a lot of important games up ahead.
