La La Anthony says it’s hard to find a good man to settle down with because all the men who want to date her are 22 years old or of a younger age
The 41-year-old single mom got a divorce from NBA star Carmelo Anthony in July 2021 after she found out he had a child outside of marriage.
In the episode of the Spotify podcast “Call Her Daddy” that came out on Wednesday, La La talked about her personal life. La La said that she checks her direct messages (DMs) for messages from men, but all she finds are messages from 22-year-olds.

“Here’s what happens. This is what I’ve found, and I don’t get it… She told the show’s host, Alex Cooper, “I’m not saying that when you get older you want to date younger guys, but when you get older, only younger guys want to date you.”
She reflect that it is so strange. When guys DM her and say they want to go out with her, she googles them and find them to be 22 years old. Lala Anthonyย said that younger men are “so sure of themselves,” but she doesn’t know what the “cut off” age should be for an older woman like herself.
She said that she don’t get this thing where the guys get younger as you get older. People think she is just out there, like you can have any guy you want. But that’s not true because the guys who want to talk to her are 21 or 22 years old.
She said that the attention from young men makes her feel good. She said that when younger men send her direct messages, “it’s a good feeling.” Lala Anthony is not into the relationship thing. And when people ask for her advice she doesn’t give them. To her all this seems unreal at this age, and young men seem not to understand this.
