Gujarat 2022, the 36th iteration of the National Games of India, will be held in Ahmedabad, Gandhinagar, Surat, Vadodara, Rajkot, and Bhavnagar in the state of Gujarat from September 29 to October 12, 2022. Games will be held in Ahmedabad, Gandhinagar, Surat, Vadodara, Rajkot, and Bhavnagar, while the cycling-track competitions will take place at the Indira Gandhi Cycling Velodrome in Delhi.

National Games of India 2022 Results Today, Day 5 Schedule, Event Summary, And Medal Winners
Boxing competition at 2022 National Games of India, which gets underway on the Mahatma Mandir campus in Gandhinagar on Wednesday, got a boost when Olympic bronze medallist Lovlina Borgohain decided to compete at the last minute. The top boxers who will compete for the top prizes in the men’s division include former World championship & Asian championship medalist Shiva Thapa, two-time Commonwealth Games medalist Muhammad Hussamuddin, World youth champion Sachin Siwach, Asian champion Sanjeet, and Thailand Open champion Sumit Kundu.
In Archery men’s team event, Rajasthan won emerged as gold medal winners after defeating Nagaland by score of 4-4 (3-1). Meanwhile, Gujarat won the bronze medal following their 5-3 win over Jharkhand. Elsewhere in 3×3 men’s basketball, Uttar Pradesh bagged gold medal with silver medal going to Tamil Nadu and Punjab winning bronze medal. Similarly in 3×3 women’s basketball, Telangana won gold medal while Kerala and Maharashtra settled for silver and bronze medal respectively.
Maharashtra dominated Kho Kho event as they emerged as gold medal winners in both men’s and women’s competition. In men’s final Maharashtra defeated Kerala by four points while in women’s final, Maharashtra secured two-point win over rivals Odisha.

According to the most recent figures, Services, the defending champions, have a significant lead over second place with 71 medals, including 33 gold medals. With 59 total medals including 23 gold medals, Haryana sit second, while Uttar Pradesh is in third with 16 gold medals. Despite earning 62 medals, just 15 of which were gold, Maharashtra is ranked fourth.
