The World Tourism Day is on 27th Sept & the celebration Event on Sunday 22nd Sept in Gandhi Darshan is organized by Health Fitness Trust Director 1992 Asian Marathon Gold Medalist
To celebrate the World Tourism Day, Health Fitness Trust has planned a variety of activities for the participants.
22 Sept (Sunday) – 15th Edition of the Champions Run 4 Peace
10 Km & 5 km Timing Chip Races “Champions Run 4 Peace” A Prize Money Race for all 6 age Categories – Open, 30+, 40+, 50+ for both Male & Female top 3 winners.
· 1 Km Run for Junior Kids under 12 years with the Family FUN Walkathon with Slogan Placards inside Gandhi Darshan to showcase the theme of the World Tourism Day.
Theme of WTD is Tourism & Peace “Sustainable Journeys, Timeless Memories”.
– Thematic Poster making by School Children on tourism & Peace.
– Indian Dance Festival & Indian Handicrafts with Women talent showcasing.
· Group activity Campaign Pan India is going on in different Cities through the Social Media promotion which started on 25th July and it will continue for two months (from 25 July to 20th Sept) to showcase the Theme:Tourism & Peace: “Sustainable Journeys, Timeless Memories” visiting Heritage & Tourist places along with the Plantation Drive at the selected venues where we ensure the care of the plants.
· 21- 22 Sept – BIB distribution Expo, Demo Shows and competitions in Martial Art of different countries – Taekwondo, Karate & Visit to Gandhi Darshan Museum & Gandhi ji’s live show in the Dome for the runners and families.
· The World Tourism Day Event is managed by Health Fitness Trust Director 1992 Asian Gold medalist Dr Sunita Godara.
Event will have 1000+ participants from different walks of life from all age groups.
·Health Fitness Trust is roping in the event partners and the drive is still on.
Co partners Gandhi Smriti & Darshan Samiti, Ministry of Culture GOI, Steel Authority of India (SAIL), support partners like NTPC, Rajrani Tayal Foundation (Prize Money for 10 km Females) , Thakurdwara Trust ( Prize money &Male Winners), The Sports Grail (Digital Media partner), Artemis lite hospital (Medical Services), Perfume Point (Gifting partner) and many more will join in.
For the runners prize money and the timing chip race are always a bonanza. The registration portals are live on Townscript ad Runizen Eventik.
For Marathon Runners September month is the begining of the competitive season.
