A minor girl Priya Pinto who hails from Kinnigoli, Mangalore was a part of an assault. She will be produced before Juvenile Justice Board for the offense.
The Mangaluru North police arrested a total of four suspects as they were having a connection with the murder incident.

This incident took place near Aloysius College in the city. A minor named Priya Pinto was involved in the assault.
Nilesh raised a complaint at the Mangaluru North Station on 17th June and the police filed a complaint under sections 143, 144, 147, 148, 323, 324, 504, 506, and 307 with 149 of the Indian Penal Code.

The accused have been identified as,
- Mohammad Tufail is 20 years old and he is a resident of Kadri Mallikatte
- Mohammad Afrid is 19 years old and he is a resident of Neermarga
- Maqsood Saag is 21 years old.
- Abdul Sattar is 19 years old and he is a resident of Bolar Mulihitlu.
Nilesh, who is a friend of the victim has Nidish filed a complaint with the police on Saturday about the assault. The complaint revealed that on the 16th of June 2023, Priya Pinto who is a resident of Kinnigoli Elinje contacted Nidish on Instagram.
She contacted him and asked him to come to a spot near Aloysius College for some sort of discussion. Nidish came to that place with two of his friends while the minor accused arrived there in a car along with the four accused namely Saag, Afrid, Sattar, and Tufail.
The discussion between them soon turned into a brawl, and all of the four accused allegedly began beating Nidish. They attacked him with a knife and issued him death threats. His friends were also assaulted physically. After an investigation took place, the police revealed that they arrested all four accused from an apartment near Kudupu Bythurli on Saturday evening.
This is not the first time that such an incident has been reported in Mangalore. The police are carrying out the investigation and soon the motive behind the assault will be revealed.
