Since 2021, Ashleigh Gardner and Monica Wright have been dating each other and they have been sharing a home for a while. Although Ash Gardner usually keeps her love life quiet but she occasionally posts images of herself with Monica Wright on social media. When Ashleigh Gardner received this year’s Belinda Clarke award, she was spotted with her.

Ashleigh Gardner made her WNCL debut for New South Wales in the 2015–16 season after putting up outstanding performances throughout the 2014–15 Imparja Cup. She later joined the Sydney Sixers for the first-ever WBBL season.
She represented Northern Districts in one T20 and one 50-over match in New Zealand that same summer. In addition to winning titles with the Sixers and New South Wales, Gardner had a breakthrough season in 2016–17 and was awarded the WBBL|02 Young Gun.
She suffered heat fatigue and had to leave the pitch, apparently as a precaution after being hit in the head during training two days prior, which affected her ability to play in the WBBL final.
The first major contribution Gardner made for Australia at bat came during the opening Women’s Ashes match in 2017–18. She had earlier claimed three wickets in the One-Day International at Allan Border Field. In the latter part of the run chase, she hit 27 from 18 deliveries, helping to secure a tight victory with five balls remaining.
Ashleigh Gardner is considered among the best all-rounders in Australia. After making her Australia debut in 2017, she swiftly rose to prominence. Ashleigh has been a key player in Australia’s success in recent years as they have won numerous ICC championships. She is well-known for her ability to bowl off-spin and for her robust middle-order batting.
Ashleigh is a player for the Gujarat Giants Women in the WPL. She was purchased in 2024 for INR 3.20 crores and kept. She made 324 runs and claimed 17 wickets in the 16 WPL games that she participated in. She’s scored fifty runs twice in her career, her best being sixty runs versus UPW.
